POLICIES AND HOW TO ORDER

2. We accept checks, money orders, and all other usual financial instruments. We are not set up to accept credit cards. Nor do we participate with escrow agents. Please make all payments out to Ian S. Gale

3. Those items paid for with POSTAL Money Orders are shipped within 2 or 3 days. All other financial instruments are held one week to ten days to clear. Our mailing address is:

4.  We cannot be responsible for safe arrival after an item leaves our hands. We therefore suggest you add the  additional postal insurance charge.

5. Payment for purchased items must be received within ten days to avoid sale to another party.

6. Returns: We will accept return on any item we sell, for any reason, or no reason. However, the terms of acceptance vary with the circumstance. If we are convinced we have inadvertently misrepresented an item, we will give full refund of purchase price. Other returns will usually result in some charge to the customer. Please do not return an item without first contacting us. Items returned must be received in the same condition in which they left our hands. Questions should generally be posed before purchasing an item.

7. We do not sell or release purchasers' personal or other information to third parties, including governmental agencies, without a specific written request from the customer or a court order.

8. Extra Pictures : Positioning and arranging items for photographs requires extensive time and work. We attempt to depict our items fully with pictures and descriptions. However, sometimes further questions arise. We believe most can be answered verbally.  Please try. On rare occasions, additional pictures may be required to fully answer the questions, but over several years we have noticed fully 90% of those requesting extra fotos do not purchase, and we have concluded most of these are not serious buyers but people seeking entertainment while they decide - especially in view of our very liberal return policy (No. 6, above).   We therefore charge $5 per extra picture which must be paid prior to sending them. This charge will be deducted from the purchase price if you purchase. If you still want extra fotos and believe your question cannot be answered in words, please be specific about the area in question. If we agree extra fotos are warranted, we will waive the additional charge.
